Marlow helps a family coordinate appointments and rides for someone they care for. It is a scheduling tool. It does not provide transport, employ or vet drivers, and it is not a care agency.
Marlow is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. Nothing in the app is a clinical judgment, and nothing in it should be relied on in an emergency. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Marlow sends reminders and alerts through Apple's notification service and your network. Both can be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control: a phone that is off, no signal, or notifications switched off at the system level. A ride that nobody claims is escalated as loudly as the app is able to, and that is still not a guarantee anybody saw it. Do not treat a silent phone as confirmation that everything is arranged.
An organizer chooses who joins a circle, and everyone in it can see the schedule, the addresses and who is driving. Marlow does not check anybody's identity, license, insurance or driving record. Deciding whether somebody should be driving the person you care for is yours to make, exactly as it would be without an app.
Accounts are for adults, 18 or over. Keep your email secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; what that does to a circle you organize is described there and in the privacy policy.
You keep whatever you write. You are responsible for having the right to share the details you enter about another person, including the person you care for.
This is a small, early product run by one person. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. If it is ever shut down, you will be told in advance and given a way to take your data out.
Marlow is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a missed appointment, a ride that did not happen, or any loss arising from using or not being able to use the app. Some places do not allow those limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as that law permits.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in California. If the law where you live gives you protections that cannot be waived, or the right to bring a claim in your own local courts, those still apply.
If these terms change in a way that affects what you agreed to, the app will say so rather than quietly changing the date at the top.
