Features

Everything it does, on both phones.

The family gets a proper app. The parent gets one screen. Everything below is free unless it says Plus, and the pricing page says what that costs.

Your side

Organizing.

  • One schedule for the whole family

Day, week and month views, or a plain list. Everyone in the circle sees the same thing, and anyone can add to it.

  • Needs a driver, at a glance

Every appointment shows whether someone's got the ride. Orange means nobody yet. Green means it's handled, with a name on it.

  • Take a ride in one tap

Tap “I'll take this” and it's yours. No confirm step, no chasing. Can't make it after all? Say so and it goes back to needing a driver, where everyone can see it.

  • Round trips

There and back is one appointment with two legs, each with its own driver. Never two entries to keep in step.

  • Repeating appointments

Physical therapy every Tuesday and Thursday is one entry. Move one week and only that week moves. Give it a standing driver and nobody gets asked twice a week.

  • Add an appointment from a photoPlus

Take a picture of the clinic letter and Marlow fills in the date, time and place for you to check over. The photo never leaves your phone.

  • Real addresses

Start typing and pick the place. Directions open in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, whichever the driver uses.

  • “Be ready” worked out from the drive

Marlow measures the drive and adds a bit of breathing room, so your parent is told 9:40, not 10:15. Recomputed if the appointment moves.

Your side

Keeping everyone in the loop.

  • You find out as it happens

Someone claimed it. She's been picked up. She's home. The people who couldn't be there see it without asking.

  • A nudge when nobody has stepped up

As the day gets close and the ride still has no name on it, the circle is reminded. If it's still open, the organizer hears about it louder.

  • It goes in your own calendar

A ride you claim shows up in Google, Apple or Outlook, and Marlow warns you if it clashes with something already there.

  • Medicines and the reminder

Add her medicines and when they're due. Her phone reminds her, and she can tap that she's taken them.

  • The medication record and missed-dose alertsPlus

See what was taken and when, and hear about it if a dose was missed.

  • Anyone can help

Siblings, a neighbor, a grandkid. No limit on how many, no charge for adding them. Everyone can add and claim; only the member list and your parent’s settings are kept to organizers.

  • Search and history

Find any appointment by name, place or driver. The activity feed says what happened and who did it.

Their side

Their day, and nothing else.

  • One screen, no login

Pair their phone once by pointing it at a code on yours. From then on it shows their day: what's happening, when to be ready, who's coming, where.

  • A list, never a grid

Today, in order. Then later today, then tomorrow, then a line saying that's everything. How far ahead it shows is your call, from just today to a week.

  • Big text that gets bigger

Starts at 20px and follows the phone's text-size setting up to double that. You can set it larger from your side.

  • Their language

English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi or French, chosen for them, whatever you use yourself.

  • Home-screen widget

The next thing, with the be-ready time and who’s coming, without opening anything.

  • Lock screen while the ride is happening

“Mike is driving · Be ready at 9:40” sits on the lock screen from the moment the ride is claimed until she's home. Nothing about the appointment itself, because a lock screen is public.

  • Weather, quietly

A line under the greeting, and a note on the card if it’s raining, snowing, or cold enough to need a coat.

  • Works without wifi

Today's schedule is kept on the phone, so bad wifi shows the last good copy, with how old it is, rather than a blank day.

  • They can't break anything

Their phone can read the schedule and nothing else. The server enforces it, so a wrong tap can't change anything.

  • Ask MarlowPlus

Tap a question like “what’s happening today?” and get a plain answer from their own schedule.
